Acep rep. Being ace is a natural part of Andrew's character and not glossed over. It's a raw portrayl that wasn't black and white nor sugar-coated. Asexuality is a spectrum and a lot of times asexuality in media is exclusively paired with aromanticism. & the novel's depiction got me to tear up

(Cont.) It's nice to have someone you know is your other half. But, it's also a scary thought because without them are you even a whole person? This idea is considered in both romantic and platonic lenses.

I loved how the novel tacked the complex nature of codependency. The protagonist, Andrew, struggles with falling into the ease of relying on his best friend and twin sister. His reliance on them is at its best comforting and at its worst unhealthy.

This was the most suspenseful book I have read in a long time. It's eerie and creepy but isn't constrained to the horror genre. I genuinely felt tense in some scenes and gasped out loud. The images included were a great bonus. More books should have illustrations!
