I'm walking the London Marathon 2025 in aid of the Royal Osteoporosis Society. At 63 it'll be my first (and only) marathon. Aiming to finish on the Mall within the 8 hour cut off.

Osteoporosis can be devastating - if you can support me I'll be very grateful.

Just about to meet my South African friend for coffee. Must not look smug too soon #cwc25 #HerGameToo

A few names among the men I've never heard commentate on women's games (doesn't mean they haven't). Will be calling out anyone who hasn't done their homework 😃.

The course looked great and I liked it being longer than most grand tour ITTs. Really wished I was there (I love watching TTs live - Stirling 2 years ago was amazing).

Did not enjoy seeing Pogacar caught, but Remco really is poetry in motion on a TT bike.

Had to go out when Elwiss and Bryce were cruising. Got back for the last 2 overs - what a win for Lancs! #MBODC

Was at the match today and it was a shocker. Feel for Beth Mooney - absolutely everything went wrong for her. And the rest weren't any better.

I would call myself a serious fan and I'm definitely more engaged by the women's comp than the men's.

Well, what a result from the women. Some fantastic catches to win a nail biter. The men's match was much more the traditional tonk-fest but without the tight finish. Great day out in the sunshine.

Old Trafford buzzing for the women's Hundred. Top hitting from Dottin but the Superchargers bowlers had the edge. #hergametoocricket

Bit of an AI fail from Facebook....

Not sure how England managed to pull that off. Can now look forward to Wednesday at Old Trafford.

I’ve said it before, but teams should have to use a review to have the shape of the ball tested via the umpire’s Rings of Spherical Purity. #ENGvIND 🏏

Forget the Oval. The important cricket was at Trafford Sports Barn. #walkingcricket #hergametoo

It's only just sinking in, but I really did complete the London Marathon. Elated and wrecked at the same time. Blisters starting to heal and can now manage stairs. All toenails intact too. Epic day I'll never forget.

I often go away on my own. I get to do my own thing and hubby gets to watch whatever he wants on TV. Win-win.

If you know someone, please comment or DM me with their name and a bit about them. I'll write their name on my top and be able to think about them as I walk.

Do you or someone close to you have Osteoporosis?

In 5 days, I'm walking the London marathon. It's going to take me around 8 hours & it's going to be tough. I'd love to carry a reminder of the people I'm doing this for. Those with osteoporosis like me

6am! Lightweights. Lyra says 5am is perfect getting up time - and her secret weapon is eyebrow licking.
