On a recent (otherwise lovely) trip to the south coast, hospitality businesses were poor: service in restaurants often indifferent and very slow, opening hours of shops and eateries not as advertised and a dearth of good, local food. That’s what puts people off UK hospitality - not Rachel Reeves!

Bring it on! The care home my MiL is in is like a hotel with lots of activities.

So there are no tourist attractions north of London?! 😆 Snowdonia, the Lake District plus Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle. Plenty of history and culture in the north.

Says who? Plenty of demand from people who live north of Birmingham who want/need to travel long haul!

What about expanding Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds-Bradford?
