West Wales native currently immigrant in Finland. Average IT Specialist, board game creator, mad into climbing though crap. Generally love everything outdoors related, thus fearful of a bleak future as the world burns
I got Trump at 25/1 in Autumn. Those odds are now 8/1.
The only thing that will see me lose is Trump dying beforehand…a win I would celebrate.
But either way the US is fucked. Corporete Dems are about as right wing as you get anyway

Describing the reality we are living as a ‘rupture’ is so damn cathartic. Just to hear it be acknowledged gives a shred of hope that we might actually stand up to the mad man

Can only speak for Finland here, but the right/far right coalition currently in government are to the left of Labour, or at least Labour’s rhetoric.

This is a brag, not a fess. Sure Santa don’t miss a beat, and gifted you some (currently) invisible cirrhosis of the liver

Get out in the fucking streets then. Only the American public can stop this
January 6, 2026 at 2:49 PM
You know congress will nothing to stop him. You, the American public, need to follow the French approach and get out in the streets en masse, and stop this yourselves.

If you don’t believe in the rule of law, get the fuck out of EU politics so someone with EU citizens interests can take over
January 3, 2026 at 11:05 PM
As the leader of the EU and its citizens, why not actually try representing us for once. If you don’t fancy that, then get out of public life you useless cunt
January 3, 2026 at 4:19 PM
With your cowardice you confirm to the US that our ‘leaders’ will bend over and take whatever he forces upon them. You damn us all.
May your life we forever without peace.

@labourlewis.bsky.social why are your Labour colleagues not replacing your leadership? Surely they all know that (relatively irrelevant as it is) their own heads are on the block, not to mention paving the way for the far right. By far the most disappointing government during my life
November 21, 2025 at 1:01 PM
Why are there not enough of you to force Starmer out? Surely there can’t be that many of your colleagues who support such far right policies? If they can’t see that they’ll lose their seats at the next election, then they are, quite frankly, imbeciles

The writing for the Reproach section of CoLC was some of the best I’ve ever read; love to hear about this development!
