Whether it's in response to the devastating aftermath of fires or the ongoing housing crisis, people's access to community can be a matter of survival or falling into a cycle of poverty that is almost impossible to get out from under. We need a paradigm shift in how we talk about mutual aid.

Just watched the film Lee, with Kate Winslet as Lee Miller, a photographer who was a correspondent during WWII. Great film. And Andy Samberg was a damn revelation in such a dramatic role.
