I am bothered that the President hates me. While he never has met me before, he hates me because I am democrat. As a nurse for 19 years I have saved a lot of lives and have helped more people than I can remember. But he can’t stand me. This is the sad state of America. All he does is fuel hate.

I watched The State of the Union Address last night. I couldn’t bare to hear the lies. I had to change the channel but kept going back to see how Democrats would stand up to Trump. I wanted the outrage that I feel every day when laws are broken and people are hurt. I did not see that last night.

I’m a nurse to my core. I’m empathetic in ways I can’t really explain. I care about all people in general. Whether it’s my neighbor or a fast food worker, I generally care. This week I’m just sad. Knowing how many people will be hurt in all of this. It’s just sad.
