My spouse and I went out for a coffee date today and decided to take our cups outside to a spot we had never investigated between the buildings in the little shopping center surrounding us. It turns out there's a whole garden pond in the spaces between, and cool breezes... and this guy!

I find it hilarious that I work at one of the bigger businesses on the local airport, and we as a group only found out about a large airshow happening on our field *the day before* it is scheduled to happen.

Time for another week. It's been a fun enough weekend of gathering unto myself the parts of a fun hobby, but it's tinged with the unfortunate expectation that I'll have to make some expensive doctor's visits soon.

I'm so tired of depression. I've got a great workplace, my duties are fulfilled and my boss recognizes my contributions; I've got a loving spouse and adorable cats; the sun was out and the temperature was well above freezing; and I have food, money, and shelter.

I am, after a long conversation this morning with my spouse, now 100% convinced that all human beings enter a tesseract around their 25th year of life and continually wormhole to the current moment.
Surely this explains why it always seems like "that was only 10 years ago."

It got quite cold last night in our area, and is going to be colder still tonight. Virtually no one came to work today (and I don't blame them).
Thankfully, I came home to a bowl of hot chicken soup because the spouse made sure we had it on and ready. It's definitely the highlight of the day.

My spouse and I resolved to eat better and try to keep to only real food items coming into our house in the new year. We are trying to make everything we can here, within reason.
Case in point: tonight I made palak paneer myself. I've only ever bought it. This is so much better than store bought!

It's long been a source conversation at our house, but my spouse and I have decided that over the next month we're going to change how we eat. We found a menu we both want to do that can help us both with our weight and cardiovascular health.

I finally have a legitimate copy of one of the shows that has fascinated me since first tiny little exposure back in my teenage years. I'm finally able to just sit down and watch, not hunt it, scan it, run a VPN or hope that some rights holder will remove whatever feed I have stumbled onto.

I haven't had anything to say in a while, and right now I still don't. Instead of worrying about that I'm going to recommend you stop, burn some very nice incense, and take time to relax.
Also: fart. Just let it out. Your body will thank you, and it doesn't matter if it's not "proper" or whatever.
