This librarian would only wear a fleece to work in a very cold office (and I’d wear something smarter underneath) or for an Open Day or similar event. However it may depend on your role. If I had to spend time with dusty books I’d wear older smart-casual clothes #TheArchers

Fleeces are practical in that they are hard to destroy in the washing machine and they dry very quickly.
Mind you, merino wool clothing dries quickly too. #TheArchers

I’m a librarian - the stereotype has us wearing cardigans. It tends to be true as they are easy to take on / off in the varying temperature zones that many libraries operate in. If you choose well they provide pockets.

Nothing wrong with own brand skincare BTW - I just don’t think Alice would rave about it…. Kate will have really pricey vegan products. Lilian will have one of those personalised subscription regimes. As will Ruari… #TheArchers
