I am reading books by authors I'm ashamed to say I've never read- such a pleasure. So far: The Quiet American, Goodbye to All That, Tinker,Tailor,Soldier,Spy, Men at Arms. Books are such a comfortable friend.

No; up in the hills above Loch Ness. Inspiration for your paint brush if you like! It was so squally but when the sun shone it was incredible.

We haven't ventured out for 6 days! Well stocked up and all those Xmas calories to work off clearing paths for the cats!

My 'be prepared ' brain cell was in full overdrive! Daughters always thought I was an old fuss pot but it certainly pays dividends occasionally! Not been able to get down drive yet !
