Last night I was honored with the Stand Up for Justice Educator Award. It was an incredible fundraiser with bands comprised of CB teachers, grads, current students and parents. Lots of community members there supporting a wonderful cause! www.sufj.org

We used it for Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Shenandoah, Guadalupe Mountain, Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands, Bandolier, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands. (I have two sons 😊)

The Phillies are probably the team I follow the most. I’d rather participate in sports than watch (unless my own kids are playing). My other exception is the Olympics which is an obsession with my husband and me. We went this past summer for the trip of a lifetime.

I advise a club that works to build community in our school. I work with some of the best students, they work incredibly hard to make a difference. When students accomplish something big I always am so proud, I think I do a good job of stepping back and letting them take the reins. #bfc530

#APBiology evolution review, list-pass-amass, 15 minutes to use notes to generate questions by topic, 4 minute rotations, answer as many questions as you can without your notes, rotate, check previous questions and add, repeat, then at the last station add 3 more questions. #edusky

A1: I use an instructional model known as the Modern Classrooms Project. It is a blended, self-paced, mastery based model. There can be a significant portion of work on tech so as much as I can I plan work that is not digital and also social #Eduskychat

Made it through another week of the year of March! At least the weather here is starting to feel like spring! I have fixed lab tables which would be my last choice. If I could choose I’d have a mix of both. I like the ability to draw on the lab tables but desks lead to less distraction #bfc530
