After the failures of privatisation, stronger public accountability and better integration will be imortant in driving the service improvements rail users need to see ✅

Britain, and the world, are facing climate and nature crises.

The ways in which we tackle them should always be up for debate and challenge.

But stepping back from a united goal of taking climate change seriously is a big step backwards for the Conservatives and our country.

As a former scout it was a lot of fun to visit Ickleford Scouts yesterday to chat about life as our MP!

As well as fielding some great questions, we hosted a mock parliamentary debate on the topic of whether homework should be banned.

No prices for guessing which side won 😅

🏥 Good news on NHS productivity

As well crucial investment, we’ve been driving up productivity through reforms:

✅More same-day discharges and shorter stays
✅Sending crack teams of clinicians to underperforming trusts
✅Better use of tech
✅Reduced reliance on agency staff

An important moment, at an incredibly challenging time.

There is a lot more to do to deliver the lasting peace and two state solution the world owes Palestinian and Israeli civilians alike.

But today’s announcement from the UK is a welcome and long overdue step forward.

But after last week’s scenes in London and pockets of disrespectful graffiti, our communities aren’t immune from the same fears felt by many.

It’s important we all step up and showcase our values at their unifying best.

Lovely to join Pixbrook Academy for the opening of their school Parliament, the first with their inaugural year 11 cohort!

Inspiring to see so many young people keen to make their school a better place, and probably a thing or two MPs could learn from how well they worked together 😅
