Dengeki Sentai Changeman: Shuttlbase! The Critical Moment:
This wasn't remarkable. A monster, who's incredibly obnoxious, takes the mech ship, and after like 10 minutes of flailing around on it while it's exploding, it's kicked out. No real stakes here. At least Ahames was in it for a bit.

Honestly this is one of the hardest images ever

Dengeki Sentai Changeman: The Movie:
An actually pretty decent Showa movie. The film being set around a countdown to Earth's destruction gives this film real stakes. All the villains appear and get to fight, and the best part is that a live dog fights one of the monsters. A lot of fun this one was.

Juken Sentai Gekiranger:
It's ok. I love the aesthetic and power system, though the overall story is very basic. Rangers and villains are all pretty simple. I do like the mech system being not an actual robot, but the combination of each Ranger's fighting spirit. It's fine, but nothing special.

Juken Sentai Gekiranger vs. Boukenger:
Pretty bog-standarad crossover. Teams meet, two members get mind controlled, secret but obvious villain appears, final fight, done. It does have a nice night fight between both teams at the beginning, but other than that nothing in this movie stood out to me.

Power Rangers (Rewatch):
It's still a good movie, though it's got some flaws. I do like how this is more character driven and it wants to show the Rangers as real people with real problems. Elizabeth Banks as Rita is a standout and very entertaining. I just wish it had more Ranger action.

For clarification, these were purchased second hand #IStandWithMayaImamori

Juken Sentai Gekiranger: Nei-Nei! Hou-Hou! Hong Kong Decisive Battle:
Very fun, albeit very short. The tournament arc was a fun intro, though I wish it could have been longer. The villain basically being Dr. Wheelo from DBZ was nice. The final fight was also really well shot and fun to watch.

I would rather be last place than have this. I'm actually angry.

Kagaku Sentai Dynaman:
It's a decent little series. The show has some pretty impressive stunt work and some fun standalone episodes. Villains are pretty weak, but they don't drag the show down too much, Chimera and Megido are the stand outs. Wish it was more original, but as it is, it's fine.

Here's my Game Awards ballot, not that it means anything lol

Reminder not to harass Shida in any way. She's not responsible for Imamori's firing and is just doing a job.

Since I have now finished every single Power Rangers series, I present to you, my personal tier list of every series.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury:
A decent finale that's just way too short. The writing is a step up from Dino Fury, about the quality of Once and Always, but the show doesn't have enough time to take advantage of it. Some fun moments and call backs and it's got the budget, it just needed more episodes.

Saw Rental Family today. Absolutely beautiful movie. Had me laughing, crying, and feeling. Brendan Frasier is glorious in this and will have you smiling the whole way through with his performance. Please please please see this movie in the theater if you can. It deserves so much love.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always:
A short but sweet anniversary special. The writing was definitely a step up from previous seasons, and the way it tackled death was handled very well. The higher budget also led to some incredible action scenes that were super fun to watch.

Kagaku Sentai Dynaman The Movie:
Pretty bog standard movie, but not awful. The Power Gun being used as an example of science in the wrong hands is neat, and it comes with a nice moral at the end. The fights, like the show proper, are also well choreographed and fun. That's really all there is to it

Power Rangers Dino Fury:
Better than last season, but not by much. Rangers were once again very bland, though slightly better. Villains were a step up, but still nothing fantastic, and the humor was better but not great. Didn't hate it, but didn't really like it. I liked Mucus though, she was fun.

So TikTok literally just showed me a porn ad. Like actual two people going at it porn ad. Couldn't tell if it was AI but it's literally two seconds of an ocean and then BAM two people. Uncensored boobs and a barely censored scrot. I AM SCARRED!!! Below is what I saw first. Did anyone else get this?

GoGo Sentai Boukenger:
It's fine, definitely better than its American counterpart, but nothing that special. Cast is a mixed bag, Red and Pink especially being thr highlights. The Negatives are cool concept for villains, but suffer from having too many cooks in the kitchen. It's just ok overall.
November 12, 2025 at 1:08 AM
GoGo Sentai Boukenger vs. Super Sentai:
It's better organized than the previous anniversary film, but lacks vareity. The guest stars only consisting of 2000s rangers and two Magiren reps is a downgrade from last time, on top of not referencing any shows pre-2000. It's a fun watch, but needed more.

If you see this, reskeet with a Sentai team that is not Power Rangers or Super Sentai
