I had a productive morning (storage unit run, shopping for food bank donation), lunch with friends, bought a cool thing for myself (that was $20 off its original price), and now we’re seeing Del Toro’s Frankenstein tonight. Whatever Phoenix’s equivalent of SAD is for summer, it’s being shed, friends

It’s hard to capture the size of the #NoKings march in Phoenix from the ground level; sort of like trying to explain the size of the ocean while floating in it. But the turnout was great. The march wrapped around and beyond an entire city block from this point.

We have minimal tabletop space this year but I’m pretty pleased with how the Halloween decorations turned out. The perennial favorite on in the background helped set the mood, too (the witch hat on top of the dino nugget pillow is so delightful)
