I was astonished by that and I would have said that O'Keefe is one of the better ones

When we were shit, I was furious and now we’re balling, I feel ill. and this is my hobby

They’ve all had good carries but not the kind of repeated dominant carry to justify the lack of breakdown work

This kind of thing is why I hate talk of World Cup cycles. Scotland are never going to win the WC and that’s fine, I can live with that. Be we could, maybe beat this AB team and instead we’re offering up this dreck. Sack Toonie for this alone

Yeah like what was even the plan there? Surely that wasn’t the called move?

Ashman and Sykes are both so ‘they look like such athletes, they must be good’

Sadly think you right, I was allowing myself to dream until I saw the two team sheets. Just not sure the tight 5, especially the subs, will be able to give enough platform

Telling myself ‘bit of a Finn magic, Sione on the crash ball, you never know’ and then you see D’Arcy Rae, bless him, lining up against Ethan de Groot

I was starting to dream and then the All Blacks squad was released and then ours

A proper rogues gallery that. Maybe it’s a good sign, world rugby saying “Hollie we know you can do well both alone and with good support. Let’s see how you manage Piardi and Tempo”

Alright Mark Dodson
November 4, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Okay it Is a slow build but that makes the payoff so good, like watching Scotland struggle all those years will make our World Cup all the sweeter. Episode 8 is an all time piece of tv

Wait what?! This could be rugby-acquaintance ending for us Leslie

Depends if Toonie reckons he is needed for the lineout. I always find it hard to tell which locks are lineout nerds but Gilcho is said to be one

I do think the way SA use their subs is different, more forwards and bringing them on earlier. But fundamentally yeah, what actually matters is that SA produces masses of elite tight 5 forwards and others don't

This is terrible, I must be getting old as all I can think to say is 'well done young man'
November 1, 2025 at 7:34 PM
He was so unlucky to miss the title winning season and he could have been forgotten with everyone else getting all the praise. He's done great to come back strong and add more to his game
November 1, 2025 at 7:30 PM
I do really like Smith, felt like he risked being forgotten with his long injury but he brings something different both at 13 and 15
November 1, 2025 at 7:24 PM
I heard like 3 different folk make that gag in the pub round me. Tbf one added the wittier ‘potter slytherin to the win’
November 1, 2025 at 3:57 PM
Both the starting pack and replacement forwards lock very strong, hopefully enough to give a good platform for the more raw backs

Apparently he's out on loan right now, feels a bit odd but must be lined up for the USA game edinburghrugby.org/team/harri-m...

Harri Morris, who he? Apparently he plays for Edinburgh but I'm not sure I've ever seen him even with my season ticket. Otherwise looks pretty standard and decent
October 21, 2025 at 9:14 AM
Yeah he snipes well but his actual delivery is a bit delayed
