Our kids should be taught that both Unis and trade schools are viable options. That both can lead to fulfilling careers. Also, every person learns differently, some are better surrounded by books, some learn by being hands on. Not having a degree shouldn't disqualify you either from getting a job.

My son was in Italy in 2019. When he became sick, the dr and medicines cost him 60 euro. When he came home to the U.S. 2 months later, he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Our insurance denied treatment.

I am a book person. But my books are meant to be read. Some of them I've read multiple times to the point they're falling apart. I glue them back together and read them again.

My son and his family were on a recent road trip. My 3yo grandson pointed out the window of their RV and proudly exclaimed "It's a f@cking volcano!!" As he looked at a mountain.
