It's frustrating seeing reasonable people I know from high school taking the 'violence is never the answer' conciliatory approach.
Like... I'm not going to say people targeted by his rhetoric don't have the right to celebrate. They didn't pull the trigger, they don't need to feel bad.

Yeahhhh def not doing group buy for tickets next year, between people backing out, slow organization, and people asking about extra tickets and then making other arrangements, it just means the people who fronted the purchases are left out to dry.

🙄 No, Haas school of business, I don't care to donate or attend your alumni functions.
My only major takeaway from there was that I'm very concerned about anyone who needs an ethics class to be, well, vaguely ethical.
(Also, that I suck at negotiations because I'm a people-pleaser)

There's a very strong correlation between profiles that claim they promote positivity and happiness and posts/post history that's just overflowing with prejudice, conspiracy theories, and toxicity.
It's also not hard to guess where they sit on the political spectrum...

Kinda wish we figured this out last month without needing pinging and coordination but that's partly on me being bad at wanting to mass ping people to get a response anyway.

A few people couldn't go, a few found other arrangements or asked if we had extras and then found other arrangements anyway, and now I have a headache.
Oh well, it's fine.
