It’s getting like that. I’ve taken to checking BlueSky a few times a day.

Was just commenting about this, this morning. Both Whitlam and to a degree, Keating, followed what was right rather than just what would get them reelected. Admittedly no social media and powerful RW media barons back then to contend with.

Need to be mindful of the other things that can get get caught. We have bandicoots, king skinks and ring-tailed possums at our house that we be careful of. Put it where nothing else can get caught!!!

Prior to the 1990s and before the longer outfall system was put in, they had sewage ‘slick’ maps (akin to weather maps) so you could know what beaches were safe to swim in. They published them in the SMH next to the weather. I was a wee bit mortified if you pardon the pun.

Seems it's not really South Africa cancelling the submission but their culture minister Gayron McKenzie. (akin to Malinauskas' big foot)

We Australians still celebrate Australia Day on January 26, the day the English declared the land for Great Britain. Many want the date changed.

Was out camping without much reception so thought this was about last time Pauline played the racist with a Burqa, NOT that she had done again. Grrr.

It is very difficult to get salmon that is NOT from Tassie. Occasionally you can get some from Canada but their industry is also dirty and there are massive food miles. Tassal also farm barramundi near Broome. Massive fish kill last week. Don’t eat salmon or barramundi
