When I was in college, my goal as a student in the crowd was to be as hostile as possible to the opponent. I’m not sure it’s about Mormons as much as it is the obvious button to push. I’d have probably chanted it when I was 19 too.
None of that makes it acceptable.

While Ryan accurately pronounced “Dyersville” it would stun you to learn local Iowa town pronunciations (especially when sharing their name with somewhere more famous). Madrid is “mad-rid” not “muhdrid”. Tripoli? Truh-pole-uh. Peru? Pee-roo. It’s not French, but it’s incredibly strange.

You guys pondered if schadenfreude had a shelf life, and I consciously realized last fall that I no longer get joy from watching Dallas struggle, and it’s been in the back of my mind ever since. I needed that episode.
