There are a billion other important problems in the world, and software can be updated, but I think all of this is indicative of a changing POV on our everyday tech and how fragile the systems are that our digital and irl lives (willingly or unwillingly) are built on

I think the timing is especially bad given the tide of popular opinion seems to be trending toward homogenous software systems are bad (re: Linux v. Windows see Verge link) in a way that has not been in the general public mindset, as convenience has always won out

Tbf, I'm a model year behind, but the lack of response, buried features and confusing UI, visual glitches (the gradient at the top of my home screen turned into an opaque rectangle the other night) all feel like a bad beta test.
