There is no reason to think I would be a good Pokémon trainer in real life. I have very little experience w/animals, no knowledge of animal health or training, not much physical fitness or practical know-how. At best I’d be a trainer w/ two level 4 pidgeys that you beat on the way to the first gym

For a game about empathizing with human like machines, Detroit Become Human really seems to hate humans.
It also doesn't seem to have any analysis of why people are so awful, just acting as though it's our shitty human nature and not the 37% unemployment rate and extremely late stage capitalism.

OK to be fair though, if somehow this was successful, which I doubt since it supposedly came out last year, it would prove two things.
1. A lot of people are willing to trust a random tech startup with their "investment" money
2. The people of Detroit really despise their local government
