I think creatives are more willing to work if their vision can realistically be on TV without the need to meddle or change certain parts of their story, and unfortunately I do worry that European animation has had to adapt to Western ideals.

It sucks. We're supposed to be experimental.

I don't think any of the cartoons here are bad, but man I totally see why some hated Thundercats ROAR despite it being average to okay with some pacing issues here and there.

It's as if things like NickToons in the past worked because there was no corporate exec breathing down their neck.
