He who can afford everything is telling Americans not to focus on what they can’t afford. That’s rich! He’s disconnected from his base.

Other sectors: Administration jobs face about a 26% risk of AI replacement, and production work about 13%. Overall, AI is expected to displace 75 million jobs globally by 2025 but also create 133 million new jobs, resulting in a net gain but significant disruption in certain industries.

Customer Service: AI chatbots have replaced large portions of customer support teams in some companies. For example, an Indian startup cut 90% of its support staff after deploying an AI chatbot, significantly reducing response times and costs.

Marketers: Many companies have adopted AI tools like ChatGPT, with 48% of those reporting worker replacement. AI is reshaping marketing roles, especially content creation.

Coders/Software Developers: More than 25% of programming jobs have disappeared in the last two years. Over 110,000 global layoffs of software developers occurred by early 2025, driven by AI tools automating coding tasks. Meta and Salesforce cut thousands of developer jobs citing AI integration.

Journalists: About 2% of journalists have already lost their jobs to AI, with 57.2% fearing more job losses in coming years. Layoffs have been significant, with over 500 media professionals laid off in the US in early 2024, partly due to AI and automation.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in this analysis. These are percentages of countries with very small populations. China, India, and the USA don’t make the list but I bet their numbers of people using AI with the same parameters of that study are huge.
