Curry is the best pound for pound scorer and it ain’t close. Even for a Knicks fan this is a hilarious take

Agreed. Not to relitigate things but this is yet another example of Levy going with the cheaper option. Raya is a different class. Let’s see if the Lewis family does things differently in the transfer market

It’s weird to me that Frank didn’t foresee this. It’s what he is paid to do. It’s like we have no structure in possession, no patterns of play. What is it…3 through balls all season? He can’t figure out how to unlock our attacking players strengths or get them in dangerous areas consistently
December 17, 2025 at 2:44 AM
Same. Thought we’d have a quick, direct counterattack under Frank (which would favor BJ) not this ponderous, sideways/backwards crap. In hindsight opponents were never going to treat us like Brentford and give us space to play into. Just set up in a low block & let us have the ball (not good for BJ)

I don’t get the hate. Outside of our backline and Kudus, Vic is the only player performing at an above average EPL level. Nowhere near one of our biggest problems: CM, LW, backup LB, manager. All easier and more important upgrades.
December 17, 2025 at 1:09 AM
It’s absurd. And you know the media narrative will be exactly that if/when we finish 9-12th. Frankly (pun intended) we appear to now have the ambition of Brentford. The manager gives too much respect to mid table opponents at home and continuously reminds us in pressers to set expectations low

More time to work on those long throws in training

It’s so odd that the media completely writes off the 5th place finish in Ange’s 1st season. They only mention 17th. In year 1 Ange inherited a mediocre, boring counterattacking team who had just lost the best striker in the world along with most of the fanbase. Style + results improved immediately.

Wow 😱
December 16, 2025 at 2:31 AM
There is no structure or attacking patterns of play. It’s about the performances not the results right now. You don’t need 7 years to look competent at completing 3 consecutive 5 yard passes.
December 16, 2025 at 2:13 AM
The only explanation I can think of is that he had by far the most talented squad in that league- particularly in attack. Mbeumo, Watkins, Benrahma, Nørgaard, Raya, Jensen…wow. Frank’s Spurs also look good against less talented opponents like Prague and Copenhagen. Possession of 56.8% isn’t special
December 16, 2025 at 2:11 AM
It would be helpful if Frank at least communicated his plan and vision since the product on the pitch is devoid of any structure or patterns of play. Unfortunately he has the charisma of a wet napkin.

This is great guys…really hit home. Thank you and well done as usual.

It wasn’t Steve who drafted 3 complete duds in the lottery. It wasn’t Steve who decided to pay Butler the 5th highest salary only for him to perform like a 3rd option on a play-in team. Yes Kerr’s offense looks antiquated but the front office has failed him on every measure except 2nd round drafts
December 16, 2025 at 1:49 AM
Also to be clear…I’m saying the blame is shared and not all on Archie. Vic chose the worst of 4 options (back to Romero and punt it upfield the other 2 choices). You’d expect a senior, experienced player to make a better decision.
December 16, 2025 at 1:41 AM
I see where you are coming from. Vic had a much easier pass left to Micky. He also passed it to Archie’s weaker foot. That said you expect a premier league caliber player to handle that situation routinely. It happens. Frank needs to start Archie again vs Liverpool.

Imagine having to make excuses for the 5th highest paid player in the NBA. Pathetic. The guy is quietly quitting on the floor.
December 16, 2025 at 12:30 AM
Yeah but we’re so defensively solid now. Just wait until Thomas “adds layers”
December 16, 2025 at 12:23 AM
In fairness to Jay he went on to say that it happens to even the best players in the world. He cited examples like Rodri and Vitinha a couple weeks ago vs Spurs.
December 16, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Spurs build up play improved immediately under Ange. I hated watching it but we also saw Spurs almost immediately implement a counterattacking strategy under Mou. My honest question is what exactly is Frank trying to do? There are no patterns of play and the team is with and without the ball
December 15, 2025 at 11:10 PM
I share that fear! I’m not advocating for a mid-season change of manager. Doubt there is an obvious upgrade available. I’m a fan of being patient with managers but it’s been 6mo and that is enough time to get at least some ideas across. When I watch Spurs I have no idea what they are trying to do
December 15, 2025 at 11:02 PM
Looks like a very capable progressive passer and ball carrier. My fear is that attacking players like this will not want to play this boring, passive style of football where their talents are wasted playing sideways and backwards
December 15, 2025 at 10:54 PM
Agreed. However I’d argue neither the players nor the manager are good enough. Frank is not the biggest problem but he is a problem in my opinion. The talent we have should be capable of more than 1 shot on goal vs Forest or the 0.07 xGs in derbies. It’s more about the performances than the results.
