this year, the draft is written to a beloved childhood friend & her little family. she reached out unexpectedly asking if she could send me one this year and we exchanged addresses.

there's always a first draft card written that sets the tone for every card that's written afterwards (notebook drafts never sit right, there's something about using a card that gets it right).
