the EO throw thing is the same oversight you see with a lot of games, but made worse by other issues... like, Jubei already has broken stuff (his air throw can hit from across screen on certain charas) and now he has what's tantamount to an instant, near-avoidable teleport command grab, it's insane

as far as anyone can tell, the SFC input issues are related to the input parser "filling in" the inputs between the directions you hit or something, so if you don't manually drop to neutral it'll add quarter/half circles where they shouldn't be

two major Garou SP differences:

a ton of moves don't come out unless you drop to neutral between certain inputs (particularly cardinals like 64)

there are EO specials by holding D for various lengths of time, including command grabs that'll track+hit anywhere on screen with basically no recourse

ppl are naturally bound to fixate on Bubsy coming to NSO but Garou Densetsu Special might genuinely be worse... the SNES version has a lot of fixes but the SFC version, while not quite as awful as the SFC/SNES versions of 1 & 2, is still inexplicably broken

Minna no Ginko's linked to a credible Fukuoka bank consortium, so it's on the level, but it's been running at a loss since the service began in 2021, so there's still some question about its longevity, and just why this particular group decided to court these markets to begin with
