Eyewitnesses spoke to us about the executions of their loved ones in Pine Village. One woman said fighters came to her house and shot her father and her two brothers. She added they called her mother an ‘Alawite dog’

We counted at least 81 bodies in footage from Pine Village, which we geolocated and verified, showing bodies strewn along the side of a road, wrapped in shrouds, and dumped in shallow graves
