I know all the counter arguments but seeing ads for Oscars and Grammies while Rome burns feels especially obscene right now. What if all that wealth was devoted to restoring democracy??

PLEASE contact Democrats in House and Senate to urge them to NOT help Republicans keep the government open. Voters need to experience the consequences of the election. And, yes, sadly more economically fragile citizens will suffer the most.
