So I suppose my feelings of E33 are being a bit formed by experience with fans, but I truly do think Ghost of Yotei was a better experience as a game for me. I fully expect E33 to sweep everything, and I think that's a good thing cause it's an indie studio that deserves the attention.

For me E33 had some issues but overall my only problem with it was the multiple endings. It's caused me some grief on the internet cause it's just constant debate on which one is the right choice, and that can be fun for a moment, but once you get called names and death threats, it stops being fun.

Ghost of Yotei told the story they wanted to and it was a lovely experience all the way through. I love revenge tales even if the endings can get very samey. Combat was fun, characters, voice acting, all of it was solid. And SO beautiful, every area was elegantly designed.

For me, I really dislike when [SPOILERS AHEAD E33!!] games have multiple endings and no "true ending" if they do. I like when a story has a tidy and intended ending and I feel like multiple endings give a cop out on what story you're really trying to tell.
