It’s becoming exhausting. All the excuses to why Democrats won’t reopen the government. Sitting on your hands waiting for Republicans to cave when they clearly won’t isn’t working? Negotiate healthcare from the position of an open government. Resentment is setting in for Dems from the Feds.

I’m a federal worker going on four weeks without a paycheck. I always voted Democratic because you guys always seem to be on our side. I don’t know what to do this time. You seem to be willfully putting us in the middle of this. Four weeks without a paycheck in this area is a lot.

Opening up the government this week would be a great step towards that. We are now at a month for many federal employees and contractors going without a paycheck. In the Northern Virginia area alone, do you have any idea what a month without a paycheck does to a household? We need help. Open it up.
