But in so cal two things can be true. We can be sad and horrified by the destruction and pray for those lost
But also sad angry and upset that we have to live without basic proclivity and the government is doing that by choice under the guise of safety from nothing

And furthermore how come we have the power off to prevent fire when we have to light candles to see… candles in which the by product is FKN FIRE!? Someone some logic pls

Another day w/no power. I know ppl have it worse but this is awful as well. We don’t get to go to a hotel or an air bnb. We have to light candles and pray. It’s pretty cold
But they can put the juice on at anytime and there are no fires or heavy winds for 30 miles or more

Another night in the dark. SoCal Edison gave me a solar battery charger for my phone. But still can’t put the fkn lights on. And we have no wind here currently

there’s ppl in active fire zones that need help and resources but they choose to turn our power off as a preventative measure when we are safe. Thus making us violently unsafe (cuz I’m in the hood) instead of helping those that need more resources
