Oh I just saw your comment that they do have an electric kettle! Nice! Also seconding someone else’s comment about a rice cooker. I have a small rice cooker that was like $25 at Walmart and it makes about 2 meals’ worth of rice.

Lentiful instant lentils. Also you might want to look in to camping/backpacking food! Most of those are just-add-water. They have a lot of variety nowadays, including vegetarian/vegan and high protein options.
