I hope you can find some sort of solace in all this, truly. All I ask is that you don’t give up, at least not yet. You seem like a wonderful human, and I hope nothing changes that

Stay safe out there 🫂

You’re all good. Again, you’re 107% justified for how you feel rn. Fuck today. I’ve just always been a hopeless optimist lol.

It depends on age of the kid, but Nintendo games would probably be the best place to start. (Super Mario, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda e.t.c) since most of the games in these franchises are rated “E” for everyone

imo I don’t think you can ever truly “grow out” of video games, these days games are made for everyone to enjoy, from preschoolers to adults. You should try and pick one up again sometime, just to give it a shot.

I’d be down to give you a couple of suggestions if you’re open to it 👍

If that’s how I came across that’s my bad. I’m not trying to gaslight anything or anyone, I just thought I could maybe try and spark some hope in someone that seemed like they needed it.

Young people are some of the most progressive people in this country today, and they’ll only pass that mindset on to the next generation

If you don’t think so, then that’s alright. But I see a bright future in these kids, and I strongly believe they can make the world a better place in the long run

She has a Facebook that she keeps up with family on and she used to have a Twitter that she deleted years ago. Besides that, she has zero social media so that’d be a shock.

She’s come home absolutely thrilled because of a person she managed to help that day, and it puts a smile on my face to see someone younger than me do that.
