I think plotting Vanessa and Edgar’s paths throughout the school as they simultaneously carry out their plots enhanced the spy vs. spy energy of the whole thing. And yes, I did all that isometric perspective by hand, because I’m CRAZY.

This could have easily just been two pages of standard panel layouts, but Manderlay Prep was such a fun setting to work in and it was important to me the gothic architecture and grandeur of the school added to the atmosphere of the story.
