Otakon 2005 was the very first AMV contest I had ever attended and was what inspired me to ditch my WMM days of editing. My first accepted AMV was in 2021 under vicbond007’s management and I’m so grateful he made it work after lockdown. It saddens me learning about Otakon’s decision to let him go.
