observation on x, the everything app: if a username is “[name]in[US state]” followed by 7-10 numbers, there’s a 100% chance they’re saying something insane, and a 0% chance it’s coming from anything but an international engagement bot. ignore, block and move on

only good use of it for a while has been to play the game, “how will the bots defend something reprehensible today?”, but now the bots don’t even try. it’s just nasty cruelty that was last cool and edgy in 2007
