I probably would have had a completely different response to this if covid hadn't hit in the middle of it but. Yeah it's... Not that easy, very expensive, and it's hard to know whether you'll be able to make anything out of it internationally after the fact.

This is so so so interesting. I did my undergrad minor in music and did a little bit of the science-y stuff (maybe more accurate to say math-y stuff in my case) but this goes way beyond that and I'm fascinated.

That's actually genuinely really interesting. I'm really interested in food history and just, looking at food/drink in an academic light is really cool. I love it
