I write software
I make music
Sometimes I write software that makes music

Ex-pat 🇺🇸->🇫🇷
I had a couple and wrote some prototype applications for it for it’s announcement

Glad I could help!

Just embrace you being wrong .
Exile in Guyville certainly captured a moment and there were some good songs but come on, better than Tori . No

PJ is more complicated . Both are amazing

So I stole your fucking wife - a gift returned for overstating”

I’ve literally seen thousands of shows (me and a friend went to our local venues almost every night for 4 years)
So all these we were seen in a tiny room:
Nirvana
Tool
System of a Down
Green Day
Helmet (actually they were Helmüt then)

I miss the Baghdad . A long time ago my friend worked there and she let me start the movie - it was basically a garage door opener

I pressed the button, Reservoir Dogs started - and within 30 minutes I watched half the audience walk out

Good times, good times

Seems a little vague - I get holding cards close to your chest , but I have no interest in working on anything with AI, or something unethical.

Has your tech stack been chosen? If so , mention it. I’m a pretty good generalist but it’s nice to have some expectations

I saw the Maui / Avalonia announcement which is really exciting. Is there any kind of eta as to when it will be officially released?

Maybe, but before that, the entire band had to be live … like Saturday night Live

First time a band was allowed to lip sync on SNL!! (I still like ABBA)
Et bonne anniversaire

Sorry, but lol. How could you miss it? To be fair it’s harder to tell on a CD cover than an LP

Je ne comprends pas, votre français est horrible 😂

Again, you claimed that you notated the output of your patch, so in that case I will admit to being wrong, but I never heard it, admittedly my (maybe mistaken understanding of the code)

I sincerely apologize for upsetting you or implying that I was disparaging your work as I was not

But without being able to hear your max/msp patch, it looked like you were jdoing modulos off a common count which would be the former.

A polyrhythm is where within measure(s) the note lengths are altered so that they fit within the grouping.

The notations you posted clearly fall into the latter.
November 9, 2025 at 9:15 PM
If there is a common pulse (so note lengths are the same) but each voice’s measure has a different numerator, then it’s a polymeter. Each voice’s pattern will shift against each other until they line up at their LCM

I really debated about replying as this is tedious and I doubt my reply will satisfy you. But I’ve had enough beer so ok. 😂

And I’m happy to be shown wrong.

Me (again) , I guess

lol, I understand what it’s doing :) it’s just not a polyrhythm. Sorry, don’t want to be pedantic (I’ve written a lot of music software that explores complex rhythms)
