One of the biggest sources of cognitive dissonance for me in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is that those who identify as LGBTQ+ are othered and sometimes ostracized for living true to their God-given identity. How is that treatment remotely Christlike or loving? God is love 🌈

stopping the flow of HIV drugs to poor countries and demanding that foreign doctors stop distributing the meds already sitting in their clinics is so evil it is hard to wrap my head around. one day when when this is all history i will struggle to forgive anyone who voted for him

In a #patriarchy, men are always in charge, simply because they are men. Even in a benevolent patriarchy where women are allowed some responsibility, men are ultimately still in charge. There will never be true gender #equality in a patriarchy.
