Hamas will have to agree to divest itself of all its assets right at the beginning of the agreement, when the IDF has not yet withdrawn, based on an American commitment that Hamas has no confidence in.

Both the Blair Plan and the Trump Plan lack legitimacy.

Blair’s plan: tainted by his Middle East record—think Iraq war and a failed 8 yrs as Quartet head.

Trump’s plan: on a whole other level—entirely U.S.-led, with only token participation, and backed by brute power rather than consent.
