Easter dinner

Chili made with beef, 3 kinds of beans including garbanzo beans, pinto beans, and light red kidney beans. All from a can because I don't have that kinda time. There's pan cooked bell peppers, onion, and shallots in the chili too. Pictured is a black stir spoon lifting some of the chili out of the pot for viewing purposes. The lighter orbs are the garbanzo beans, the red bits are the red beans, and the pinto beans are kind of invisible against the broth. My apologies to a vegetarian reader due to the meat. A clear Tupperware square with small cornbread mini muffins. 9 are on the bottom of the Tupperware with 3 more stacked on the top row for 12 cornbread muffins in total. I did not use muffin liners so we would get the crisp edge.

I finally managed to draw an actually cute fox on the whiteboard. This pose is always hard for me to draw, human OR anthro so any practice is nice.

Also, why not foxes? They're the best.

Hey pothos, it's been 4 months and you haven't touched your cut leaf stem. What on your mind, little plant?
A photo of a tiny soil propagated pothos plant. The plant has a neighbor that's barely visible to the left. The plants have a tiny cylindrical sphagnum moss pole in the four (4) inch terracotta pot. The white bits are excessive perlite for drainage as pothos like to dry out a bit before watering. The pole, once rooted into, provides another avenue for the plant to receive water and nutrients. This plant photographed here has one whole leaf with the preceding leaf having been cut due to misshapen and rotting. Doing this focuses the plant on growing but the post is joking that the plant hasn't done visibly anything for almost five (5) months now.

Christmas dinner is stew. There's 5lbs of carrots, two heads of cabbage, 4 cans of garbanzo beans, & more than 2lbs of red potatoes. Not counting the onion, shallot, garlic, & bell pepper I chopped and cooked for the broth. Hard to tell that it was a 5lb chunk of meat now that it's come apart.
Picture shows an open stock pot filled with a reddish-brown stew. It's carrots, chickpeas, potatoes, a beef round cut roast, and various smaller cut veggies. It was cooked over 2 days. I'm very proud of it.
