Convenience counts. Its was HARDER in the old days for like-minded people to FIND each other. but... its the commonality of hate that binds them and access to "correct information" won't break through. Social media IS really good at affinity sorting.

So how many Americans live somewhere they can just go out in the woods and chop down their own Christmas tree or cut up their own firewood... or have a fire place to burn it in?

NO apocalyptic outcomes? Are you SURE about that Fox News?

Indeed, according to the World Meteorological Organization, the earth’s average temperature already rose by 2.79 degrees in 2024, the warmest year ever recorded globally, without any apocalyptic outcomes as of yet.

Curious today. Why do some parasites kill their host? Or as we humans call it - killing the goose that lays the golden eggs?

Parasitoidism is one of six major evolutionary strategies within parasitism, distinguished by the fatal prognosis for the host, which makes the strategy close to predation.

Wealth... and power corrupts.

Underpinning the loyalty-or-punishment principle are corruption networks blessed by Chávez and Maduro that give the loyal permission to get richer.

The world is A SAFER place now.

Between 2000 and 2023, the international homicide rate fell from roughly 6.9 deaths per 100,000 people to around 5.2 per 100,000 people in 2023.

(without) this decline and instead stayed steady, some 1.5 million additional people would have been murdered

Why is food so expensive?!?!?!
November 28, 2025 at 1:46 PM
that's a BIG demand. But it's not why prices are going up now.

US retail power prices have surged 13% since 2022, outpacing the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and driving higher costs for consumers.

If nothing changes and the butt ugly bill stands as is - ACA tax credits GO BACK to 150% of Federal Poverty Level.

lower-income individuals, taxpayers will still cover the majority of premiums, with a 50-year-old at 150% of poverty potentially having over 90% of their premium paid by taxpayers,
November 25, 2025 at 12:14 PM
Current ACA benefits are at 400% of Poverty. Working 40 hours for Minimum wage at $7.50 is BELOW the poverty line.

I feel like my supermarket must be selling cheaper grades of beef even though the prices are higher. I don't really know what the USDA grades mean.

Thinking about the Federal Poverty level, Minimum Wage and Obamacare subsidies extending to 400% of the Poverty level.

Working 40 hours a week, the minimum wage GROSSES $15,080 a year before deductions. Which is $570 below the Poverty level.

I have always held that Capitalism NEEDS to be regulated... by Government... to limit its inherent greed and enable a level playing field for "equitable" competition that benefits consumers.

Humans have their human flaws! But to REALLY become INHUMAN takes a computer "intelligence".
