A few thoughts
* what website has given us the most trouble - scratch (8 years ago) on a laptop
* teachers setting homework that requires access to websites blocked by the school tablets (even at home)
* teacher instructed children to lie about their ages -with instructions sent to parents

I am very torn - we waited until teenage to supply one; they obviously knew how to use it as they were required under threat of detention to have a charged tablet with them at all times at school. You have the teachers who say you can listen to music on your phone and teachers who say stay hidden.

Are there any stats on what proportion are driven to school? (as a city resident whose children went to local schools they and all their friends have only very rarely been driven e.g. for 6am coach or unexpected bike flat tyre for 6th form)

External restriction on hours available to work seems fair. I would love to see stats on employers and proportion of staff who qualify for in work benefits

that is certainly my expectation - but if they are going to send me a message it should say

I wish they made it clear what would happen if you didn't clock the button - specifically will they cancel the booking

Was I the only one thinking of the librarian saying Oook as Bec kept being substituted for more and more words?

I have to admit when i saw the name on consultations (I guess 10+ years ago?) I assumed it was a placeholder

"We encourage students to consider wearing attire that reflects their nationality or family heritage," it said.

Any outfits that were worn had to be "appropriate for a school setting", the post added, and had to hold cultural significance.

Does this sort of thing mean male surgeons with smaller hands are underrepresented and female surgeons with larger hands overrepresented (at least compared to other women)?

Certainly on my regular walking routes I think I only pass 5 charging cables crossing the pavement

So we move to a regime like dropped curbs where the council can give approval and the someone pays an approved contractor to do the work

I remember 30+ years ago doing a GCSE coursework it being very carefully emphasized who we were permitted to solicit assistance from (at the time the list of what was not allowed was quite short - teachers) and what had to be disclosed about the assitance.

The thing I find least boring about automated tests is when I learn something about the Al language (recently that array element var params, and separately maxstrlen, didn't behave as I intuitively expected)
