Trying AGAIN.

Lazarus will return in 2025 with the final series, “Lazarus: Fallen.” Here’s a bit from issue 1. Script by me, art by Michael Lark, letters by @airy.bsky.social, coloring by Santi Arcas. The book is edited by @alejandrobot.com and published by @imagecomics.bsky.social.

Panel 1 - Looking past two homeless-looking figures keeping warm around a fire in a barrel at the mouth of an alley, a young woman and a figure wrapped in a blanket. Snow is falling. Beyond them, two figures, their faces concealed by their hoods, in winter clothes, are being led past. The street beyond is filled with more homeless people — Waste. The caption reads, “859 days since Forever Carlyle declared ROGUE."

Panel 2, a reverse of the previous on the figures around the fire, revealed to be a man with a beard, wrapped in his red blanket, and at his shoulder, the other, a mid-teens woman. The man speaks in French, “C’est eux. Va avertir les autres."

Panel 3 - Following the two unidentified figures, still being led along the street by the third. To the left, on the side of a building, we see a massive digital display — The Post — the text in French. Two headshots, one of Forever Carlyle, the other of an unidentified woman, are visible.
