Meet the Tutor, Jess Fricchione 

Jess has had a variety of roles in the scholarly publishing industry for the last several decades. Currently she is a Regional Sales Manager at IOP Publishing and prior to coming back to IOP, she was the Publications Portfolio Manager for the IEEE Photonics Society. 

Previously, she was an Account Executive at IOP Publishing and before embarking on the sales side of publishing, she spent nine years commissioning books at IOP Publishing and World Scientific Publishing. Jess also worked at Springer Nature in various editorial roles. 

Jess is the tutor for our upcoming 'Books in the Data Driven World: Understanding their Impact' Virtual Training course.

Clare has been a publisher for 40 years. She has worked in academic, professional and trade sectors, publishing everything from trade books to large-scale online reference works. She started her career at Pergamon Press, was European editorial director at Prentice Hall, managing director of ICSA Publishing and business and operations director at Profile Books.
