Industry was there long before we were, so we already get marketed at for every one of our "individualities". (That's how rebellious and unique you are 😉).

Existential angst is the human condition though, and it's healthy, I think, to be reminded of our own bullshit.

Certainty is a crutch.

...and we're ALL experiencing it.

"Where do I fit in a small society where I understand the rules" has become "Who am I amongst 8 billion people who are all different from me?"

It's understandable it's been quite a transition, especially for comms industries. Some it's killed, some it's corrupted

I have to imagine that sometimes there exists a Marina Jekyl, who's actually a lovely, intelligent, and occasionally correct individual

I know it's shameful as standard that even our traditionally socially democratic political party has sided with fascism and runs on neoliberal economics - and they should always be called on it - but "x refused to comment on something that would either way fuck the narrative" is kinda disingenuous.

While I certainly appreciate the approach, it's a leading question. No politician will answer it. It's not designed to gather information or contend with a specific issue, but merely to embarrass politicians by forcing them into a position where there is no good answer.

Media should be better.

In short, you only make a racist joke part of a Party Political speech item if your intended audience (and voters) are also racist.

His biggest issue is surely that Scotland's "first" language is Scotch Gaelic, so to him, they're all dirty foreigners.

It must be hard to be an English Nationalist racist figurehead when you don't give a fuck about ethnological history or reality, but love fat unemployed alcoholics voting for you.

Create a Reddit or SM livestream channel, use your interactions to build evidence of engagement, advertise yourself on your engagement stats to any relevant company via something like LinkedIn, and offer your services via that link+evidence to MSM and online bodies.

That joke did the rounds amongst anyone who enjoyed dark humour at the time. Even then no-one would dream of thinking it was advisable for a public speech, even by the most embittered barfly. In this context it's proof of party and person specific discrimination, not a just a "dark pub-joke."

Whilst at the same time hobbling the UK economy by continuing to try and service a broken global system by further cementing us as a pirate island billionaires run their money through for short-term growth, and undermining our long-term economic survivability. Because votes are all that matters.

It's hard to answer questions with Trump's cock stuck between his teeth.

Corporate shareholders demand consistent growth on their investments. When growth plateaus and you've saturated the market, the only way to accomplish that is through slash-and burn-franchising, cheaper materials, lower wages and increased prices.

Which is why the status quo no longer functions.

One corollary to this pattern, should it hold under scrutiny, is that in such circumstances if you hoard wealth away from fair taxation you essentially remove it from circulation, disempowering the economic capability to that value of those from which it was derived, then charge them a holder's fee.

Economic fluidity drives economic growth, nit the reverse. While in the past that was driven itself by extremely fast growing technological development, greater accessibility and more efficient use of global resources, we have all but saturated that pathway. We need another way of circulating wealth

Ad soon has he finally joins their ranks though sadly, we still have to deal with Farage in the present.

He's got just enough brain cells to attempt false equivalence based on mutual past behaviours but not enough to recognise the point about change.

He doesn't seem to have twigged that unlike him, they stopped at one point.
