That could easily be it. A lot of agents I've researched don't even bother responding to queries that are above the recommended word count for the genre. At the very least, it's worth looking into the suggested word count and paring down where you can! Congrats on the full request, btw!

I've noticed a lot of agents opening up for queries in February, and with MSWL Day coming up next week, I'd say it's as good a time as any!

I've found that, since Bluesky doesn't seem to have an algorithm, I really have to search out the content I want to see. Which is both nice and not so nice 😂
