Donki still has the vibe tho ngl and they have an unbeatable selection. Though frankly I still lean towards Meidi-ya for the occasional Japanese import.
The food court at Meidi-ya is also immaculate and runs circles around the Donki food hall. And best part? No Miracle Shopping played on loop.

I’m not going to lie though, nowadays if I eat too much fried stuff, or even just a few slices of pork belly, I feel a bit queasy.
Makes me feel kind of sad tbh cos it’s a little bit like being “allergic” to your once favourite foods.

Tonight’s dinner was a heaping pile of veggies… spinach, morning glory, capsicum, pumpkin etc..
Old me would have a heaping pile of rice and some fried chicken or roasted pork belly, with little to no veggies at all.
