Do Republicans no longer believe in "trickle down" economics, or do they only apply to lower tax on business? Higher tax in the form of tariffs won't trickle down, too?

If companies "eat" tariffs, profits decline, people get laid off, recession follows. If they pass it along, prices go up, and inflation follows. It's not difficult math.
