Everyone! It's Official! We are now a registered organization at UCI!

We look forward to our first meeting in winter 2026!

Sorry for the lack of updates.

But we are VERY close to becoming an official organization. You can expect us to become official sometime after November 19th.

But we likely will not have our first meeting until winter quarter.

We're really excited and we look forward to meeting you all soon!

We are aware that we haven't been updating you all as much in the last few weeks.

Rest assured that we are still very much active and we currently have a thriving community on Discord.

We look forward to seeing you all during the academic year!

We are glad to welcome our treasurer, Ashley Pock! We believe she will do a great job in her role and we look forward to working with her soon!

UPDATE: We have made improvements to our website pages "About" and "Get Involved" to be more visually consistent and mobile friendly.

We are also happy to announce that we have updated our Bluesky handle to @alugatuci.org

We have migrated our official website to alugatuci.org

All visits to our original website will redirect to there now.

We received reports that the website did not function properly on Safari web browsers.

We have patched the issue, but in the future, we would like to have volunteers test the website on Safari as the maintainer of the site, Chris, does not have any Apple devices for testing.

This is our plan for the upcoming academic year at UCI!

Last night and this morning, we welcomed nine new members to our Discord server!

And not only that, we've seen a lot of enthusiasm in our Discord server.

We are humbled by all your support! This inspires us to deliver the best that we can in the upcoming year!
