Nah, MLS was shoulder-to-shoulder, his 1st ‘foul’ and he’d not been on long. That was objectively harsh, even without the 2 tier reffing from Taylor.

Zubimendi’s was harsh, MLS’s was very harsh. When you factor in what Cucurella & Caicedo got away with, they were pretty much all a joke.

Shouldn’t you be more concerned about trying to maintain a positive GD, or concentrating on the gruelling climb up to mid table, than how Arsenal are doing against title rivals?

It’s not inconsistent though, is it… it’s entirely consistent; punish Arsenal to the max, be lenient with the opponents. Even tried his best to not send off Caicedo (for his 6th foul!) 12 fouls Arsenal: 6 yellows. 13 fouls Chelsea: 1 yellow, 1 red (on VAR suggestion).

No strikers, both CBs missing (which really hit our build up from the back as well as defensive solidity) & not being allowed to make a tackle coz we were getting booked every time we did & Taylor was v keen to take us down to 10 as well, in the 3rd huge game in a week. Can’t be too upset with it.
